Orchard Hill Church partners with Food for the Hungry, working to end physical and spiritual hungers in a village in the Sofala region of Mozambique, Africa. Orchard Hill helps provide infrastructure to the community and individuals through child sponsorship, and sends teams regularly to continue to grow relationships with the community and Food for the Hungry leaders and to learn from one another.

To Sponsor a Child in Mozambique:

Your $32 monthly payment ($384 per year) benefits the whole community, providing nutritious food, clean water, medical & dental check-ups, education supplies & uniforms, biblical teaching, church development, and gospel sharing. Sponsors receive a photo of the child they support and are expected to pray for the child, write letters regularly, and send monthly payments consistently. Right now, there are over 250 children being sponsored by people from the Orchard Hill Church congregation in this specific Mozambique community. This is the same community where Iowans for Africa (the marathon team) helped to build a school. God is doing amazing things through this partnership!
