08-27-08—Cheryl Wheaton's cancer is progressing rapidly. The doctors are going to attempt to aggressively target the cancer cells in her brain with outpatient chemo 3 times a week. Please pray for miraculous healing.
08-26-08- Please pray for a 35 year old who was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer of the esophagus, liver and possibly the brain. Please pray for comfort and that the doctors make the right decisions on treatment.
08-26-08- Brenda Bonner had a hysterectomy this morning. Please pray for her recovery.
08-26-08- Richard and Kathryn Featherstone had a baby girl, Aubrey Kathryn, on August 24.
08-25-08 - Please pray for Marla Becker’s brother, Bryan, that his tests are negative and that he does not have cancer of any kind, particularly melanoma.
08-26-08– Pam Van Hauen was released from Mayo Clinic in Rochester today. She had treatment for her graft-vs-host disease. Please pray for strength and healing.
08-21-08- Thank you for your prayers for the mother from the Longfellow neighborhood. She is recovering at Allen Hospital and will be coming home soon. Upd 8/25
08-21-08– Keith Richtsmeier received a good report at Mayo Clinic. He and Carolyn are very thankful for the prayers they have been receiving, and ask for prayers for the current treatment plan he is on to prepare him for his next surgery in a few weeks.
08-21-08– Jean Jurgs’ son-in-law, Michael Koppang, has been moved out of ICU. Thank you for your prayers. Upd 8/25
08-20-08- Kurt Kastli will be having heart valve replacement surgery in Iowa City on Friday, August 29. Please pray for his surgery and recovery.
08-18-08— Amy Price’s dad was moved out of the hospital and into Younkers Rehab Facility. The next few days will be challenging for him. Upd 8/21
