Avery, a kindergarten student at Grundy Center Elementary, was diagnosed with MPS (Morquio Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that affects the bones, spine and organs) just after her third birthday and receives weekly enzyme infusions to help slow the progression of the disease. Avery will undergo multiple surgeries throughout her life. Her first major surgery will be in September. Please pray for the doctors, nurses and staff; her parents; and her little sister, Clara, as she navigates this time when she won't be playing actively with Avery. Please pray for safe travels for the family.
Praise to God that Diane Adair's son, Kevin, had a successful surgery for his kidney transplant. He did develop a fever this morning, so prayers for wisdom for the doctors and staff that they can get it lowered and that he can continue to heal. Diane's daughter, Jennifer, also donated a kidney a few weeks ago. Thank you for your continuing prayers for both Jennifer and Kevin.
