Join us from 5:00 - 6:30pm for our annual Congregational Celebration, a time to come together as a church family to share stories, express gratitude to our leaders, and celebrate our incredible staff and volunteers. We'll also commission new leaders and handle a bit of church business. Light snacks and drinks will be provided, and all ages are welcome.
We are also excited to celebrate Pat and Diane Oehler as they retire in early 2026. Both Pat and Diane have faithfully served for over two decades and have been integral to Orchard. We are so thankful for their dedication and impact on our church community. Please feel free to bring a card to encourage Pat & Diane as they step into this new season of life.
Also, we want to invite you to hang around for the "after party" where we will have a 45 minute panel discussion to answer some of the remaining questions from our summer series, Questions from the Seats.
This year at the Congregational Celebration, we are encouraging families to give back to our local food bank which serves 16 counties in our area of the state.
Monetary Donations:
- Made out to the Northeast Iowa Food Bank
- Every dollar donated to the food bank can provide 2.5 meals
- A donation of $40 provides a family in NE Iowa with an entire Thanksgiving meal
Food items:
- Foods high in protein such as canned meats (tuna, salmon, chicken), and peanut butter
- Foods high in nutrients, such as canned fruits & vegetable
- Rice, cereal and pasta
- Canned soups, chilies, and stews
- Personal care items such as toilet paper, bar soap, toothpaste/toothbrush
