There’s so many ways to talk about that nudging we get as followers of Jesus to make a difference in this world and to serve others. We are changed from the inside out by the Holy Spirit, and as we follow the promptings, we see the world differently. At Orchard Hill Church, we encourage each other to seek out marginalized communities’ perspectives so we can impact those around us through love.

Items may be brought to the Welcome Center on Sunday morning or dropped off in the Cedar Falls office during the week.

Ongoing Serving Opportunities

We believe intentional, ongoing relationships make the biggest difference in our world and we want to serve deeply with our partners. Join us in one of these ongoing serving opportunities!

Meal Team

We make monthly meals for Habitat build days and for Try Pie classroom workshops, plus other meals for Youth Art Team celebrations & Love INC classes as needed.

Habitat Build Days

Habitat provides the tools, the training, and the encouragement, and we provide the labor. All skill levels are welcome as you work alongside future home buyers as they build and purchase their first home.

Child or University Sponsorships

Hands down, this is one of the best places a dollar can go. The dollars raised for child sponsorships bring children in Mozambique & Haiti a full meal, a school uniform, and a quality education to help raise up a new generation of leaders in these countries.

Learning Groups

The topics are constantly changing but we are always encouraging each other to read, listen, and learn from those who are different from us. We love to do this in community.

Mentoring

Several of our partners have needs for mentors. If you have space to connect monthly with a young person in our community, we’re ready for you to join us.

Driving

Love INC hosts community classes on Tuesday evenings and they provide transportation for their attendees as needed. Could you donate an hour once a week to pick up and/or drop off neighbors to their classes?
